What is a Listserv?

A listserv, or list server, is a small program that automatically sends messages to multiple e-mail addresses on a mailing list.  The WLWCA office uses these lists to foster communication between counties and send information quicker to a variety of people.  One list's purpose is solely for sending information easier and quicker from our office and it is used for the Thursday Note.  The other is used to contact all the county conservationists.  Please note this listserv goes to the county conservationists, not to all employees.  This service is to facilitate communication without the constant need to update lists.  It does require anyone with a change in e-mail address to contact the WLWCA office.  Contact us to learn more.
